2011-S PR70 ANACS - Gettysburg National Park - Initial Release (#05-2011-DA011)

First introduced in 2010, the United States Mint's America the Beautiful series is a multi-year program to honor 56 national parks and other national sites in each state, the District of Columbia, and U.S. Territories. Under this program, the Mint is scheduled to release five new reverse designs for the quarter-dollar each year through 2021. The coins will be issued in the order in which the featured site was first established as a national park or site.

The Gettysburg National Park quarter was the sixth coin released in the American the Beautiful Quarters Program. The Union victory at the Battle of Gettysburg in the summer of 1863 was considered a turning point in the Civil War, ending General Robert E. Lee's second and most ambitious invasion of the North. The reverse design features an image of the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument which marks the battle line of the Union Army at Cemetery Ridge.

These flawless proof versions of the Gettysburg National Park quarter are graded PR70 by ANACS, one of the world's most trusted coin grading services. These eye-catching coins are sure to become fast favorites of yours to own… and to proudly display. Avoid disappointment and order yours today!
